States hopping to LV

What a calmness here. The first time since we arrived here, absolute tranquility and slept through until almost 9 o'clock😅 Both of us were a little shocked. Then we had a relaxed breakfast outside on the terrace. The first one outdoors this year at all 😅 After that we packed our 7 things and headed to Las Vegas🤩 On the way there, we crossed the border quite often🤭 Literally. From Utah to Arizona, back to Utah, back to Arizona again, and the last time we were in Nevada. The drive, nothing worth mentioning. Vegas, first stop: Panda Express. Finally🥰 I like the food here and especially the restaurants come from a very good year😉 We filled our bellies and went to the hotel, checked in. I knew I had booked something downtown. But so fancy and right next to Fremont Street? I was more than positively surprised. We are at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino. Nice, big room, parking garage right next to it, very friendly staff. Unfortunately, no refrigerator (like almost everywhere in Vegas) in the room for all our breakfast stuff, but after I asked the gentleman at the reception where I could cool all my drugs, we got one delivered to the room directly and free of charge😊
That's what I call service. We also have a rooftop bar with a roof pool. Not bad at all. I will definitely test it in the next few days. So, what to do with this day in progress? - Shopping?🤔 Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, here we come. Just 1.2 mi away from us. Another outlet with great shops where you can quickly find something😅😅 There's even a Victoria outlet here. But it's not really great. It's a total chaotic store. And we walked in circles for ages to find it😅 A valuable experience, Victoria's outlets are not for me. Oh, I almost forgot. Starbucks premiere. After what felt like 100 years, they spelled my name correctly for the first time💪🏼 Back at the hotel, we brought the few bags to the room and went straight to Fremont Street. Really cool. Especially, of course, it's busy, but not too crowded. We could walk around comfortably, listen to the different bands, drink cocktails and watch people. A short visit to the Golden Nugget to watch people gamble before we spent some time in our hotel's casino. Jörg is back in paradise. Smoking at the machines and all-inclusive cocktails😆
Let's see what tomorrow brings. Are we broke? Did we hit the jackpot? Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️
