Day 3: Tuesday

Tuesday, 20.08.

When we met at the bus stops at 07:30, everyone was still pretty tired. It was quiet on the bus during the ride to London. But as soon as the first skyscrapers came into view, everyone suddenly woke up. Just before we reached the city center, we made a short stop for the tour guide to join us. Then we continued into the city center and took a sightseeing tour. We visited the Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the London Eye, and many other sights, which we later visited on foot again on our way to Shakespeare's Globe. In the Globe, a nice lady conducted a workshop on Shakespeare's famous work "Romeo and Juliet," where we could also visit the replica of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. We relaxed in our host families in the evening.
