Back in Ljubljana

... feels somehow like being 'back again'.

Between the charming capital of Slovenia and Freiburg, there are actually still a few kilometers, but here the Balkan road trip basically started. Ljubljana was the first real destination, more than just a spontaneous stopover on my journey.

I already knew parts of Slovenia, but what awaited me from here on was the beginning of a journey that took me a little further every day, on unknown paths, across the Balkans and provided countless unforgettable moments.

However, the journey is not over yet. On the contrary.

The outlook for the next weeks and months could not be better. It looks fantastic.

This is mostly due to a certain person, the most wonderful visitor, who will no longer be a visitor from Tuesday onwards, but the woman by the side of the protagonist Lip, whose previous story as a lonely nomad does not end there, but takes a decisive turn. The blog could then be: Lip & the visitor who is actually no longer a visitor & Bürsti - Balkan road trip.

Where my journey ends, our journey begins, in several respects. The vague idea of embarking on another journey together over the winter arose a few months ago and has since become more concrete....

That means Freiburg will only be a short stopover in my hometown. Nevertheless, I am really looking forward to it, but also to what comes after.

In the next few weeks, more friends will also come to Slovenia to vacation together. Camping, climbing, festivals, being outdoors and on the road. An excellent conclusion. Peace!
