After the mosquitoes and giant buzzing insects (sounds like a helicopter and crashes loudly into the car) were already buzzing around us like never before last night, they also accompanied us all night long. Somehow we managed to get the pests into the rooftop tent. In the morning, we killed at least ten mosquitoes😳
Today we want to switch to the west side of Fitzgerald River National Park. To do this, you have to drive all the way around or endure a lot of washboard road. On the way, we decide to take a boat trip from Bremer Bay tomorrow (more on that tomorrow). So first we are going to Bremer Bay on the west flank of the National Park.
Bremer Bay is beautifully located. Surrounded by bays and white beaches, with the National Park on the doorstep and less than 2 hours away from Albany. We take advantage of the unexpectedly beautiful weather to snorkel and swim at Little Boat Harbour. I don't know why it's called that, you can't see any harbor facilities or boats here. Just a cute bay with a great beach. After a little sightseeing around the town, we go to the very well-equipped caravan park.
