After already making a stopover in Singapore on my way to Bali in 2013, I knew I had to go back. So in January 2020, I set off for Singapore. The city is the cleanest metropolis I have ever seen in the world. This is due to strict regulations, of course. For example, smoking is only allowed in specially marked zones and chewing gum is even prohibited. At first glance, these may seem like bizarre restrictions, but they contribute to creating an extremely clean city. Singapore not only impresses with its fascinating buildings and incredible hotels like Marina Bay Sands, the world-famous hotel with the famous infinity pool on top. No. Singapore is picturesque and shines with its greenery as well. I spent 3 days in Singapore, which is absolutely sufficient to get a good impression of this city. I have been to Asia several times, but Singapore is a very special Asian pearl. On one hand, there are luxury cars, well-dressed people, and magnificent shopping streets. On the other hand, there are many small stalls offering Asian food at very reasonable prices. This metropolis is a must-visit in life.
