It poured all night long. We had breakfast at a roadside food store today. And of course, we had banana bread with pineapples and macadamia nuts. The weather was no better in the morning. Our first stop was the Venus Pools. Just as we got out of the car, it started raining again. We walked along a rocky, muddy path to reach the pools. Unfortunately, we couldn't swim because we were already wet. We stayed for a short while, flew the drone for a bit, and then had to turn back because of the rain. Next, we went to Wailua Falls, which is considered the highlight of the Road to Hana by many visitors. After enjoying the beautiful falls, we headed back the way we came. Unfortunately, we couldn't drive around Haleakala (volcano) as the road was closed due to flooding. Instead, we were rewarded with unique sights, including Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees. These trees can grow up to 60m tall and have bark that shines in rainbow colors. We made one more brief stop at yesterday's beach before heading back to our accommodation.
