Max at the Blue Pools - Guest Post by Brayden

Some people would be scared to take the leap, but Max takes it to the next level. After watching myself (Brayden), Lisa and Erin take the leap into the icy cold blue pools, max finally decided that he’d have a go. However he seemed to have quickly regretted this decision... Max walked onto the bridge, looked down, and decided it was too high. At this point though, the only way off the bridge was to jump. With crowds lining the beach and watching from the bridge, the shame of walking off the bridge would be too much, and Max knew this. He fought with his mind whether to jump or not. One hour later... he finally jumped after much encouragement. Immediately after the jump while swimming ashore, his first words were “Brayden, I wanna jump again!”. Since I am a real man I said yeah! And we climbed back into the bridge together and I jumped off. Max must have immediately regretted this decision as his second jump took him a further half hour to do. All in all the rest of us had a wonderful time enjoying the blue pools and the nervous pacing of Max on the bridge. As for Max, well, he ended up getting a sunburn on the top of his head from standing in the sun too long waiting to jump... but at least he did it!
