Adieu Bocas del toro

We left Bocas del Toro this morning. To be honest, we are glad to move on. Yes, the accommodation has a nice view and is well located. Thanks to Valentin, we could easily get around by water taxi. Panama celebrates their May 1st differently. Unbelievably loud and really annoying. The people are not really friendly, not unfriendly, but incredibly disinterested in you. English is mostly a foreign word. The heat in the accommodation initially was also challenging for us, but after 1 day we had figured it out somewhat. Getting a taxi on the street is impossible, buses also do not stop. Disaster. Nothing is predictable. Very inefficient people when it comes to construction, the streets and curbs are in a catastrophic condition.

The airport is small and everything is done manually. We also had to check in our bag, luckily for free. Yay, it would have costed us almost 100 bucks otherwise. The propeller plane was quite spacious, not bad.

Arriving in Panama City, we visited a huge shopping mall and bought some small items. After checking in at the hotel, we took a power nap. We strolled along the promenade at sunset and admired the skyline. At the fish market, we had really delicious food at a good price. Nice! We like that kind of thing.
