Georgetown - we love it. Everything and everyone lives side by side here, a temple here, a mosque next to it, and suddenly you're in Chinatown. And yes... this diversity is also reflected in the food, you can't stop being amazed and trying. But what really captivated us are the people! We feel welcome, wholeheartedly welcome.
Georgetown - a city that preserves traditions as well as modern street art culture (just to name one example). In 2012, the street art project "Mirrors Georgetown" was launched, with a total of 9 drawings that are supposed to represent the life and energy of the city and its inhabitants.
We stroll through the city and let it affect us. A chat here (thanks to the street vendor for the tip to quickly recover... stomach), a drink there and a bite to eat, and in the end a Thai massage (info: Thailand is only 3 hours away).
Michi 😂... she is still undecided about how she should find the massage (the term "treatment" is probably more appropriate in the Asian context) - it was intense. We end the day at the rooftop bar.
