Montego Bay

After this exciting excursion, we had to relax in the cabin. The theme for dinner tonight was the USA. We also had an Aperol and a Corona beer on deck. Another day of our trip flew by. On Sunday, we could sleep in. We were docked in the port of Montego Bay in the morning. And just like in Ocho Rios, we were greeted by rain in Jamaica. Our excursion started at 10:30 a.m. We took a bus for about 30 minutes to our starting point. Today, we went down a river with double flippers. The float ride was very relaxing. We were in the middle of the nature of Jamaica. Our boat guide, David, did everything to get a good tip at the end of the ride. It was possible to get a lime pedicure. Lime stones from the river were used for this. There was also a floating kiosk. There was really a lot to see on the float ride. David even picked fresh flowers for us. And to top it all off, a hummingbird flew directly onto our float to get nectar from the fresh flowers. After the float ride, we took the bus back to the port. We had a short stop at a shopping center. This was an opportunity for Matthias to buy a flag of Jamaica. Back on board, we sat on our balcony. There, we could watch pelicans and the planes landing. In the early evening, we treated ourselves to a Bob Marley cocktail on the pool deck. After dinner, the theme for tonight was the wide world, we already found ourselves back in bed. The sea air just makes you tired. Today, we have a sea day. We slept in, had a good breakfast, laid on the pool deck, and did some laundry. That's how the day went by.
