We started the day early and were at the Snow City Cafe shortly after 8 am, which is the most famous cafe in the city. As a result, it was also crowded. We had to wait for a free table for half an hour. After that, we went to Resolution Park and the Oscar Anderson House, a historic building that survived the 1964 earthquake.
We walked along the Tony Knowles Trail, which runs along the coast. We were able to catch some sun rays along the way.
Later, we went into the city. We browsed through the souvenir shops, which was paradise for me. You can buy moose items in all shapes and sizes here.
In the evening, we had a table reservation at the Glacier Brewhouse. Alaskans love beer, and this brewhouse is one of the top 10 beer producers in the US. The burger was also really good.
From our hotel balcony, after dinner, we could see the silhouette of Mount McKinley on the horizon for the first time. An incredibly beautiful moment.
