Zwangsurlaub 🏝/ forced vacation 🏝

Lolomiina: 03.09.2021

Hallo Friends! 😎

It's been a long time. Yes well, I was also on vacation. πŸ˜‚ I just had to switch off.

As you heard, I went to the Dominican Republic to get my re-entry permit. It was a forced vacation, so to speak. Sounds a lot worse than it actually is though. πŸ˜†

Was a very good time. Along for the ride was my friend Katy. So exciting to see her fly for the first time! We even flew over the Bahamas and got to admire it from above. πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ˜―

For 10 days we were in a resort in Punta Cana and spent most of our time swimming in the pool, lying by the pool, sitting on the beach or eating the awesome tropical fruits. You can't imagine, but the mango was just so good and delicious, I miss it already. πŸ˜•

We did two tours during our time. One tour went to Saona Island the other tour went to Playa Cabeza de Toro. For the tour to Saona, we were picked up early in the morning with a bus that took us to the port of Bayahibe. Our tour guide transferred to a speedboat with our group and then we arrived on the island after half an hour. It was so beautiful there! 😍

Everyone took pictures in this beautiful scenery. Then we had a good lunch and after that many cooled down in the turquoise water. 🏝 That is anyway my favorite. πŸ™ƒ The full day trip was super successful! We took the catamaran back afterwards.πŸ™‚Β

The second trip was a few days later (last Saturday). We went snorkeling! 🀿 In the town of Playa Cabeza de Toro we could also do scuba diving. The pictures show you a little impression. You have the opportunity to see fish and coral at depths of up to six meters while breathing normally πŸ™‚ And yes - I found Dori! πŸ˜‚

Before the action, I was a little nervous. I was a little scared that my ears would pop being that far down and that I wouldn't be able to take the pressure. But everything went well. πŸ˜‚

The rest of the time we rested. The people were super nice! On Wednesday we went back to the ranch. Who still has not noticed: Yes, I will stay here for a second year. My current plan is to come back to Germany next year in August. But let's see where else I will be taken πŸ˜‰.

We have a family camp going on right now. My family left again the same day I left the ranch for my little vacation.

Next Friday the new students will arrive. Now there are already 39 students for the upcoming school year! It's going to be very different. A big difference from our last school year where we were only 14 students. But let's see and wait how it will be. πŸ™ƒ

For those who added a second year, it's a little different anyway. We will only have three classes or so with the new students. Other than that, we have our own classes. Of course, now we have much more of a task to be there for the new students and help them out. But more info on that another time. πŸ€—

Be blessed and see you soon! ☺️
