There are five of us on the tour - Taylor and Ashlee from the USA, Scott from Australia, Marianna from Brazil, Sunil and me. Once again, I am surrounded by mostly native English speakers. I think my English will improve even more after this trip. :)
We want to walk the longest route through the park, which takes about 6-8 hours. It passes by beautiful waterfalls and the water is turquoise blue! I have never seen such fascinating waterfalls and turquoise blue lakes before. It is sunny, but only about 5 degrees warm. Due to the temperature difference between the air and the water, the lake looks so magical at half past eight in the morning.
Later when we test the lake water, we are surprised that it feels as warm as in a bathtub compared to the air - too bad you can't swim here!
Since Leo picks us up again at the park at 4 o'clock and we naturally make many (photo) stops along the way, we have to shorten our route. Nevertheless, we cover about 15 km on this day and when we arrive back at the hostel, I'm looking forward to my power nap. Afterwards, it's the perfect time for some yoga in nature, as the sun hasn't disappeared behind the mountain yet. Sunil wants to start doing yoga and at his request, I show him a few exercises - the first time I "teach" yoga :-DIn the evening, I cook pasta with a tomato sauce with zucchini and mushrooms with Sunil. Very delicious :)
Our travel duo becomes a trio on this evening, Taylor from the USA joins us and we book a hostel together for the next night in Zagreb.
