In santa marta it was already midnight when we reached the hotel.
The next day we got up early in the morning and took the bus to Tayrona National Park.
Because everything had to go pretty quickly, I didn't have time to go to the ATM and had to manage with very little money.
On the bus, I quickly made friends first with an older couple from Bogota, then more and more people joined our conversation, including a Mexican who suggested a camp with hammocks.
And just like that, there were four of us on the road.
Our luggage was searched by the police at the entrance.
I was afraid they would find my machete and take it away from me, but they didn't find it.
Adrian (the Mexican) and I decided to walk the whole way to see the entire park (and also because I didn't have money for the bus).
We noticed that we were almost the only ones walking, it took about 2 hours and then we met Elle and Sohrob again and had to go through a beautiful but strenuous path with a lot of elevation changes for another 2 hours.
Next to our camp, we saw a crocodile in the river every day in the same spot.
Can you see the crocodile?
In the morning, I went jogging with Sohrob, the beaches were still empty!
The coconut hunt continued, so we were again well nourished by nature.
I found the first real bakery in Tayrona, the owner had been in Switzerland for a couple of years and the bread was accordingly delicious!
In the evening, we took the bus to Cartagena, we had to change buses in Barranquilla and reached Cartagena after 4 hours of bus ride at 10:00 pm.
