Jamaica - Day 8 - Departure to Kingston

On the drive from Port Antonio to Kingston, we treated ourselves to a bit of luxury in the route taxis. Instead of stashing our big backpacks on our laps, we rented an extra seat for the approximately 3-hour journey and stored our luggage there. The ride didn't even cost 5 € per person.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we checked into our rooms. This time, we got lucky and received a free upgrade (private bathroom or outdoor shower).

It should be mentioned that the receptionist didn't make a reputable impression as he was always visibly stoned.

In the evening, we went out for pizza and ended the night with a few beers. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes, so we were very bitten the next day.
