Day 3 - Bangkok on the other side of the river

And on we go... after we were only in bed around 2:00 a.m., we set off again after a wonderful breakfast and half an hour in the pool. We take the Klong boats towards the Old Town and visit a few more temples. Then we take a boat across the Chao Phraya to Icon Siam, the new ultimate shopping center. It's really unimaginable, with a huge food court, very well styled, even in the toilets. With an indoor waterfall and a viewing terrace.

From here we want to go to the Big Buddha, a huge 64 meter high sculpture. That was quite adventurous and time-consuming in the Thonburi district. But the journey is the destination…

In the evening we go to the Jodd Fairs Market. It was too commercial for us, the same offering everywhere, even though we ended up eating delicious seafood. After the long day, we actually took a taxi back to the hotel. To our surprise, it only cost 200 baht for almost 30 minutes of driving. Another full day in the City of Angels…
