This morning at around 10 o'clock we headed off to the Tauplitz Alpine Road in foggy and questionable weather.
When we arrived at the top, the fog was just starting to clear - to my delight and Christian's dismay 😊.
So I decided to start the 6 lake hike. At the beginning, we had a little disagreement because we couldn't agree on the direction. We started on the left side because the path was more visible to us. We quickly realized that it wouldn't be just a walk around a lake - it was already a proper tour with climbing sections, lots of tall roots, masses of debris, many water sources, and small streams that made us sweat quite a bit.
However, as we continued, the sun started to shine and we could count the people we met on our almost 7-hour tour on both hands.
But there was a fauna that was worth seeing - beautiful 😊
When we reached our car again after 5 pm, Christian's knees were like butter 😉 and we both had a slight sunburn on our faces, despite applying sunscreen 🥵 (PS: Christian's bald head is now trying to compete with the sun 🌞)
You can see more details about the tour on the last two pictures - including Christian's health values 😊
After this hike, we are both completely exhausted, so we had dinner at our hotel tonight - it was great - or rather, I had a great meal (Christian only had soup - he couldn't eat more, I think he lacks the strength for it 🤗)
Now I just need to quickly patch up Christian's knee, blisters on the foot, and the sunburn on his head - after showering. And then off to bed with sweet dreams 😀
