Doubtful Sounds

After the Dusky Sounds we entered the Doubtful Sounds at around 11am. We had 13*C, 6bft wind force, 420m water depth and 77% humidity.

As soon as the sun comes out it is immediately warm.

Greetings from Lord of the Rings... Everything seems like a fairytale... The nature and scenery are incomparable!

We were able to get relatively close to these sounds, or rather the elevations, and thus get a good look at the actual rocks and the vegetation. These giant ferns could also be seen here and the Kaka parrot is also native here.

The photo with the gondola or capsule that you can climb into from the ship gives a 360° view of the surroundings. I didn't take it...

All alone in a bay there was a sailing ship with a dinghy, I think they wanted to go to the beach...

If I ever come here again, I have to sail through the sounds too.... ⛵🧭
