Tired and hungry, we finally arrived after a 12-hour flight. There was hardly anything to eat and no entertainment either, so Willem drew something on the plane (detail from Madrid). After waiting another 2 hours at the airport, not for our luggage, but for our pick-up, we could finally focus on the most important aspect of the trip: food. The accommodation is very basic, but with a very nice host who helps us. Jet-lagged, we only slept until half past 5 (Eva) or half past 6 (Willem). We spent today in downtown Lima, which we describe as follows:
