Laundry day

Today a short tour. After starting, I quickly realized that motorcycling is not my thing today, although the routes were great again. I also had to wash laundry and it still needs to dry.

Started at 8 o'clock, it went quite quickly up a 600 meter high mountain at already 30 degrees. From up here, you had an excellent view of Lake Skadar, which is two-thirds part of Montenegro and one-third part of Albania and is an ecological gem. Among other things, a pelican colony nests here. Then it continued on very narrow mountain roads (no oncoming traffic with cars possible). On the way down, I disturbed a tortoise crossing the road. Then the Albanian border. The border clearance went as smoothly as always, quite swiftly. Then it went back up into the mountains. After yesterday evening's thunderstorm, the roads had to be treated with caution. Everywhere there were smaller rockfalls during the last night. Strangely enough, mostly in the curves. Anyone who thinks they have to play Rossi here and ride on the edge will lose, they will quickly find themselves 200-300 meters lower.

Then I quickly looked for a hotel. 9€ for an overnight stay, that's cheap even by local standards, so I took it. However, on arrival, it turned out that reality is very different from what is shown in Booking.com photos. But what can you do? For 9€, you have to accept some compromises.

I think, since I already visited Albania a few years ago, that I will go to Kosovo tomorrow.
