Finally the final evaluation

After we have been back home for about a year now (today is November 11, 2019) and have experienced a lot during this time, we can finally give the final evaluation of our 10-week trip to New Zealand and Australia:
New Zealand has impressed us greatly and left a profound impact on us. Australia was also beautiful, but for us country folks, it was too gigantic. Unimaginable distances in this country make it difficult for us to enjoy! While we found three to four completely different types of landscapes every hundred kilometers in New Zealand, each of which was deeply impressive in its own way, we drove two thousand kilometers through the same landscape in Australia. It was also beautiful, but it was always the same.
Conclusion: We will probably travel to New Zealand again for about seven weeks from October to December 2020. We couldn't see everything during our first visit there and therefore we have to take this very long journey again.
Post-Conclusion: Due to the corona pandemic, our second visit to New Zealand will be postponed indefinitely. But only postponed.
