Today, a visit to the Emil Nolde Museum in Seebüll near the Danish border was on the agenda. Emil Nolde - a controversial but world-renowned expressionist - realized a dream in the vastness of the North Frisian landscape at the end of the 1920s with the construction of the residential and studio house designed by himself and the garden he created. In their will, the couple Ada and Emil Nolde stipulated that the total work of art should be made accessible to the public later. Between 2020 and 2022, the facility was carefully restored and expanded by an additional building. The wonderful garden, where Nolde painted many of his flower pictures, can be visited today as the artist laid it out back then. It was really worth the visit and the trip from Husum to Seebüll. Absolutely beautiful!
