Almost there...

So, we're almost there. The backpack is almost packed and the excitement is growing!

So far, the nervousness is still limited, which may be due to the fact that I'm going on safari to Namibia with my family as support first, and then going around the world all by myself. But the time will come when I start to get cold feet 🤗

Since so many people have asked me about it, here is a rough travel itinerary:

After the 3 weeks in Namibia, I'll be back home for another 1 1/2 days. On June 29, 2018, I'll be off to Bogota, Colombia. From here, I'll be traveling through South America for the first 4-5 months - Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.

From November (probably), the Caribbean will be my playground: Belize (well, technically part of Central America), Cuba, and some smaller islands. Barbados, Dominica, Turks and Caicos... Let's see...

From the Caribbean, I'll be heading halfway around the world to Southeast Asia in February - Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines.

And as the grand finale, I would love to fly to the South Pacific. Whether it's the Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, or Samoa, as long as it's paradise 🤗

But that's just a rough plan. Everything can still change spontaneously...
