A Weekend in Amsterdam

I'm flying from Berlin to Amsterdam for a weekend and I can't get enough of this beautiful city. I want to take pictures of every house, every bridge, all the different boats on the total of 100 km long canals; everything is so charming and pretty! The only thing that bothers me is the countless cyclists who race through the narrow streets at such a fast pace with a shrill bell that I wonder why I'm not witnessing an accident. I'm staying in The Hague, which can be reached by bus in 40 minutes, as Amsterdam is very expensive, and I'm also taking a little detour to the beach in Scheveningen. On Sunday, I crown my Amsterdam weekend with a visit to 'Dutch Doubles', performed by the Dutch National Ballet. I'm still out of sorts for hours afterwards, as the performance deeply touches me and definitely belongs to the most beautiful dance experiences of my life.
