I woke up around 8:30 and felt very refreshed despite a slightly windy night. After almost 10 hours of sleep. A neighbor came by for some small talk and asked if I needed anything. Gratefully, I filled up my water reserves and set off around 9:30. I felt very good today. I stuck to my rule of riding 15km and then taking a break with calorie intake. The sugar gates are open and I can tell that it helps me find a balance that feels good along with more sleep, short regular breaks, and reduced speed. The road today was the same old up and down through the pine forest for the first 40km. Boring and somewhat monotonous. When the road brought me back to the Trondheim Fjord at Leksvik, I got to enjoy beautiful views again and the sun came out. The 35km to the last ferry within Norway flew by. Arriving in Trondheim, I first went to a bike workshop where I received the good news that only my pedal was worn out and I could replace it. Problem identified, problem solved. Without a click or a clack, I left the city again. I felt more like tranquility. In Øysand on the Trondheim Fjord, I found a charming accommodation in a tipi with its own stove, where I stayed for 2 nights. On Saturday, I had laundry to do, planned my route (taking the EuroVelo 3 to Oslo), went grocery shopping (because tomorrow is Sunday), ate and slept. I'm already looking forward to the next few days in the mountains.
