Whale Watching and Feeding Dolphins

Publikovaný: 02.10.2019

Let's go whale watching.

For 4 hours we went out to sea.

Classic with tourist boat...🚣 and again many Germans.. Like flies.

Everyone was eagerly waiting to see a whale somewhere on the horizon. And then the captain announced through the loudspeaker that there are some in front of us at exactly 12 o'clock.

Splash!!! They jump out of the water and then drop like a wet sack. They are definitely having fun.

In total, we saw about 20 whales that day. Mostly mothers with their children. The calves are feasting on a little layer of fat here on the east coast before heading back to the Antarctic. 🐳 🐳🐳

The next day we went to Tin Can Bay. Feeding dolphins at 8 o'clock for a small contribution towards expenses.

In the 50s there was an injured dolphin here. He was nursed back to health and eventually brought his family along. And for years, this family has been coming at 7 o'clock in the morning to get fed. However, the first dolphin is no longer alive. 🐬

Each dolphin is fed 3 kilograms of fish every day. But don't worry, it still needs to eat another 10 kilograms of fish in the sea.
