On the 4th Advent

On Saturday, Martin had a day off, and we took the opportunity for a longer walk and visited a slightly larger park. There we could observe some amazing things again. For example, some professional photos were taken of a 15-year-old who is entering adulthood and has dressed up incredibly, and of a pregnant woman. Both presented themselves very proudly. There is a lot of photography going on here in general, of people in every situation, environment, and pose. And not only people but also dogs in a kind of fashion show.

Yesterday, Martin and I jointly organized the worship service for the 4th Advent. And in the afternoon, we went back to the Barranco artist district, where we met up with friends. Initially, it was still very warm and sunny. Once the sun is gone, you need warmer clothing. In the evening, we attended a Peruvian Christmas concert. The premises - with a music café - are run by a kind of city pastor who also wants to reach non-churchgoers. Apart from the four of us, there were three other guests, but apparently many others had joined online. Everything was very improvised but had a nice atmosphere. Silent Night was even performed in Quechua. In the end, we were also glad to have arrived home safely.
