THE DESCENT

Today good weather was reported. Therefore, the alarm clock rang at 7:00am and after a very delicious hut breakfast, we left shortly after 8:00am to Naturno.

The weather was really fantastic, beautiful sunshine and a pleasant temperature! On our route today, we saw many beautiful waterfalls and successfully managed two suspension bridges and the Valley of a Thousand (for us 426) steps - that was also not easy for us!

Today, a large part of the descent was on our agenda as we went down to the town of Naturno, almost like trail running.

Here we are staying in a beautiful inn with an adjoining winery and a view over the entire valley, the town, and the surrounding mountains.

Since we arrived around 2:00pm, we took a well-deserved shower and then enjoyed a big ice cream in the town! After a stroll through the city, we had dinner and now we are relaxed in our room.
