20.10.18 - walked almost 28,000 steps!

There's not much to report from the past few days... On Thursday evening, there was an information evening at our organization. Ines and I went there because there was free pizza 😬 There, we were overwhelmed with excursion offers and I wonder if they are better than exploring everything ourselves 🤔... Of course, they're more expensive! 

Also, on Thursday, I caught a cold... 🙄 It had to happen with the bad weather here. 

On Friday, Ines and I originally planned to use the Wi-Fi in our organization's office in the morning... But then we ended up staying there almost the whole day! We uploaded our CV to various job portals and booked the first hostels for our upcoming trip... and then the day was almost over 😁. But it was actually good for my cold. 

Today, Ines and I decided to NOT organize ANYTHING for the future... We wanted to explore a bit more of Sydney. So we went to the neighborhood 'the rocks'. It's the oldest neighborhood in Sydney. From there, we went to the Observatory Park and then to the Botanic Garden. In between, we ate something at a market in the rocks... At the end of our tour, we looked for the Paddy Market. They have eeeeeeverything there! Lots of souvenirs, all kinds of fake clothing/bags/etc., and there was a fruit and vegetable market. It was very interesting there! Back at the hostel, I was completely exhausted! Then there was a huge thunderstorm... Luckily, we didn't get caught in it!
