Enjoy the sun once again

Just quickly, we enjoyed our last day at the beach and pool of our hotel. The weather was amazing. The sky was bright blue, there was a gentle breeze, and the sun was shining. We found out in a conversation that it was raining here in Hollywood all day yesterday, while we were just a few kilometers away at the stadium getting sunburned. That's why the pool and beach were really crowded. This became very clear to us at lunchtime. We were sitting in our beach restaurant and had ordered food, but after an hour it still hadn't arrived, so we assumed it was forgotten. After we made ourselves known, the manager immediately apologized, made the food come quickly, and covered the entire bill as an apology! Unthinkable in Germany...
In the evening, we went to a park in downtown Hollywood, because there are food trucks there every Monday. We strolled around and looked at everything, but we didn't see anything suitable for us. Although everything looked delicious.
So on the way back, we got a Papa Johns pizza and settled back on the bed to watch Monday Night Football. :)
A perfect ending to the vacation, because this afternoon we're flying back home.
Then it's goodbye Florida, goodbye USA! But we'll definitely come back :-)
