From Chiang Mai, we took a three-hour bus ride through the mountains to Pai. The winding bus ride was fun :D Pai is a small hippie town surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery in the northwest of Thailand. In Pai, there seemed to be even more tourists than in Chiang Mai. During our time in Pai, we visited a temple and watched the sunset there in the evening. The next day, we rented a scooter and explored the surrounding area. Among other things, we visited the Bamboo Bridge in a nearby village. Afterwards, we went to the Pai Canyon. On the way back, we got caught in a tropical rain shower and got soaked to the skin. Luckily, it wasn't so cold ;))
