Vancouver

After arriving in Vancouver , we handed over the rental car that had accompanied us since our arrival in Canada with both a laughing and a crying eye. We then explored the area around our hotel and saw the Harbor Center Tower, on which the Vancouver Lookout is located at 169 m, and the Marine Building, which served as a backdrop for several films. We also paid a quick visit to the hipster district of Gastown today to see the world's first steam clock up close. Every fifteen minutes the Westminster chime sounds from this clock. On the way back to the hotel we were able to watch seaplanes in Vancouver Harbour. Not bad for a first impression of Vancouver!
