Willkommen in Amerika

After a long journey via Amsterdam to San Francisco, we landed on time at 11:30 AM. Then we went through immigration, including fingerprints and a photo, in case we misbehave here. We had already been traveling for 18.5 hours, but the entertainment program on the plane helped pass the time. Afterwards, we took a taxi to the hotel, which doesn't quite meet our expectations, but we're not supposed to spend the whole day here. To avoid jet lag, we immediately set out to explore the city. Today, we have already gathered quite a few impressions: from skyscrapers to the typical small houses on the steep streets, poor Chinatown and tourist hotspot Fisherman's Warf. Here are some photos.
