We booked this tour online, where it costs 50% less than at the countless street stands. At 9 o'clock in the morning, we were picked up directly from the hotel by the organizer and taken to the boat dock. We sailed off with a long-tail boat and 40 other tourists. Our tour guide spoke good English and made it a lot of fun. We had a 50-minute stop at each stop.
The first stop was the Tup Islands (Tale Wek), which were good for a short cooling down. There were a lot of tourists on the islands, as all tours stopped there. We then continued to Chicken Island (Koh Gai), which really looks like a chicken. We stopped there for snorkeling, had a lot of fun, and saw various fishes. The visibility was between 1 - 4 meters and, once again, we were surrounded by many other people. We took great videos with our underwater camera. We then continued to Poda Island, a great place to relax and swim. There we also had the included lunch, which included rice and vegetables. After another 50 minutes, we went to Railay Phra Nang Cave and Railay Beach. The beach is beautiful and the water is good for refreshing. This place would be perfect for kayaking. However, we only had time to look at the cave and swim. At 4 o'clock we were taken back to the hotel from the boat dock.
The islands are worth seeing and the water quality is much better than on the mainland. It is definitely worth it for €11 per person + €10 per person national park fee.
