Mood:
Super
Overwhelmed
Health:
Due to the air conditioning, we both got sick
Food:
Main food: Sandwiches
The food in Singapore was the same as the food in Malaysia
Accommodation:
Airbnb, hostel
We had planned to couchsurf in Singapore, but unfortunately it didn't work out, so we had to sleep in a 20-bed room for $20 per person
Hygiene:
- Since Malaysia, we have been brushing our teeth with tap water
- Singapore's public toilets are much cleaner than ours in Germany
Money:
Four days in Singapore = €200 per person 💸
Communication:
- English is widely spoken in Malaysia
- English is the official language in Singapore
- In Thailand, hardly anyone understands English and you can't read much, especially if you're on the outskirts like us
Transportation:
On foot, bus, LRT, MRT, Grab, airplane
Backpacks:
Both weighed 20kg on the last flight 😱
It's time to send a package home again!
Climate:
Hot and humid, 35 degrees
Fortunately, the sun doesn't shine all the time
Insight:
- Singapore didn't seem much different to us after Kuala Lumpur
- Bangkok seems cheaper to us after Singapore than on our first visit
- Singapore seems more developed to us since Bangkok, especially for a Southeast Asian city
=> All impressions are always subjective and depend on what you compare them to, and usually it's the last experiences
Special feature:
Three countries in one week 😎
Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)
Singapore
Thailand (Bangkok)
