The day begins with a foggy landscape and a great breakfast. It starts raining too early, even though it was more like drizzling compared to the experiences in Chamacó. Our destination is Castro and then the Parque Nacional. Castro remains in our memory due to its traffic jams - and due to its church, which we got to know during a funeral service.
At first, I miss the entrance to the national park and drive to the Pacific coast with a wide sandy beach. Just in time, we reach the entrance to the national park, as the rain has stopped and the sun is peeking out a bit. It becomes a walk into a primordial landscape that reminds us of moors and Galapagos.
However, the highlight is our dinner at the Cocinería Dalcahue right on the wharf. Two very cheerful chefs prepared our meal in front of our eyes.
