Farewell to the Bay of Fires

Today, only a gentle breeze blows in the Bay of Fires. The perfect opportunity for a day at the beach! We splash around in the nearby bay, which is wonderfully protected by rocks and therefore the water is pleasantly calm.

In the afternoon, we make our way towards Launceston. In the end, we end up at Myrtle Park. The pitches there are huge and there are many different trees, almost like in an arboretum.

There are supposed to be platypuses here. Unfortunately, we didn't see any. Maybe tomorrow morning?

A lovely campfire with hot tea concludes our day.
