Hoddevik - Switchbacks down to the beach

On the other side of the peninsula, I found the sandy beach of Hoddevik, which is also very popular with surfers. I drove down the switchbacks only to find that there was too much activity in the parking lot and on the beach, so I turned around and drove back to Nordfjordeid, where we had a party in the evening to celebrate a volunteer who was going back home. Late in the evening, I drove to Volda with Malvine (a volunteer in Volda) after checking the tire pressure.
