13th June Cooking: Tapas

This morning everything was gray again with a lot of rain. I had a cozy breakfast and read my Schwäbische Zeitung. Then I did the usual, went through the children's rooms, cleaned up the kitchen, and then got dressed. I really wonder what they always do in the kitchen in the morning. I really have to take a picture of how such a mess can be made. But well, otherwise I wouldn't have anything to do. Karin didn't wake up until around 10:30 a.m. and then had breakfast. After that, I drove her to a liquor store by car. You can only get alcohol here in Norway in special stores. And then it's very, very expensive.

When we came back, she lay down again. She still feels dizzy. Then I cooked, well, what do you call it, there were tapas with vegetables and ground beef. The work was cutting the vegetables small. So tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and a can of corn. Plus a pasta sauce and sour cream. The tapas are ready and are only heated up in the microwave. I have to say, it tasted very good. I will make it at home sometime too. Leif actually ate three tapas.

Today I went for a hike that starts behind the house. Beautifully past a nice lake, up a hill from where you had an incredibly great view of Trondheim.

The weather was sunny and beautiful again. It's hard to believe that it was still gray in the morning. Tomorrow is also supposed to be nice, so I will most likely do the hike around a peninsula.
