Cinque Terre-Riomaggiore

We arrive in Cinque Terre in the rain and find a parking lot high above the town on the road. It is a large bus parking lot.

The weather is not great, I want to walk the dog and take the "hiking trail" down to the town.

About 500 steps lead steeply down the vineyard. Since the dog has a "back" problem, I carry her 🥹

The town is beautifully situated by the water and has colorful houses.

During the winter, the boats have been pulled up into the town for protection.

Schnuffi is excited, as the walk for her only starts here.

However, we also have to go back the same way. Since the dog is not supposed to climb stairs, I also carry her back up...

When we arrive back at Doro's just before darkness, I'm exhausted.

12 kg dog climbing the 500 steps back up really drained me.

The next morning, two small trucks arrive and unload household items. It's raining lightly. Shortly afterwards, a helicopter arrives, lands next to our bus, and flies the items piece by piece to a remote house in the mountains.
