3., 4., and 5. day in Vancouver

I started the day once again with a waterfront park just a 5-minute walk from my hostel, Sunset Beach Park. From there, I took a small ferry to the other side of the city.

At Fisherman's Wharf, I had a beautiful view of Vancouver's skyline, even though it was a very rainy day. I walked through Vanier and Hadden Park to reach Kitsilano Beach. Unfortunately, I was the only person around that day.. ;)

I was really looking forward to Granville Island. The peninsula is known as a shopping district with many local products. The Public Market had everything I could desire: fresh fruits and vegetables, all sorts of fish and seafood, bakeries, and food stands.

In the evening, I took the Seabus to North Vancouver and had a breathtaking view of Vancouver's illuminated skyline.

I spent my last two days in downtown Vancouver. At Harbour Centre, there is an observation deck where I bought a day pass. I went up during the day and again in the afternoon to see the sunset.

I also visited Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver, which took me about an hour by bus to get to. The 75-hectare park has several paths that crisscross, go up and down, and are either paved or covered in moss. Although the sun was shining that day, I only saw two people. But I was glad about that because it meant I could enjoy the view alone and in peace. :)
