Now we continue to Guácimo,

where we stay with a very nice elderly couple with a beautiful garden!

Actually, we spend most of our time in the garden and learn!

Sometimes only one person learns...

Guácimo is a small relaxed place, it is cooler than on the coast and it often rains.

Our trip to the waterfall 'Catarata Las Golondrinas' turns into a 26 kilometer walk due to blocked roads...

The landscape is beautiful, incredibly green and if we had known beforehand that we would not find a way to buy water and instead spend 7 hours instead of 4, it would have been even more relaxed!

Once you've seen the Victoria Falls, a small waterfall doesn't impress you anymore, but the journey was the goal and after all the learning, it was really great to be on the road for so long!

Finally, Ronny was still surprised for hours after our host family's breakfast that the eggplants taste so sweet and different - well, what can you say, bananas have that in them.
