Ski Day 1⛷

01/17/22 And the first ski day is already over!

First things first: Everyone made it down the mountain in one piece.

Our ski beginners (recognizable in the pictures by the white and orange coveralls) successfully tackled the warm-up with Mr. Weichard. The first attempts at skiing were a bit wobbly and mostly ended in the snow, but that didn't dampen their motivation. The beginners practiced diligently and lo and behold: they can ski! At least they can make it down the mountain on skis, and we will work on the finer points starting tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the advanced skiers explored the entire Winklmoosalm and skied every inch of it. And they even showed off a bit with their skiing skills (see pictures with the green/yellow and white coveralls).

Our skiers certainly worked up a sweat today. At least it was very quiet on the bus ride back 😊 And now everyone off to bed: Tomorrow we'll go up again.
