Mountains, canyons, and arches

On our way to Utah, we passed by the Colorado National Monument and decided to check it out. We found a canyon that belongs to the Colorado Plateau. It may not be as spectacular as the larger and more famous canyons further west, but it is still impressive. Unfortunately, the sky was a bit overcast, so the photos are not as brilliant. On the way back to the exit, we even saw a herd of bighorn sheep, including some lambs. We were thrilled.

The Arches National Park was absolutely stunning and spectacular. The pictures speak for themselves, in my opinion. The sky was consistently blue, and it was quite warm, almost hot. It's no wonder this area is considered a desert climate. It was fascinating to see what nature can create. We had a great day in this park and enjoyed it very much.
