11 to Velomech in Buchberg

For the past few days, my rear wheel has started to squeak, but only when pushing. In addition, I have already covered 1,000 km since I started. So it seemed time for a check.

So Dieter and I rode about 20 km to Buchholz, where his bike shop is located. After a somewhat unfriendly greeting (I usually know North Germans to be friendly), he finally focused on my problem and found that the noise was coming from the rear brake. Very professionally, he tackled the problem and solved it within minutes. During the subsequent short test drive, he also found that the suspension was too soft. So he brought the air pressure back to the required 15 bar.

Although Buchholz is a very beautiful place, we immediately headed back towards Undeloh. The sky dramatically clouded over and we wanted to get home dry.

Now we are sitting in the warm living room and I am enjoying a hot tea.
