31.03.2023 London

We were greeted by the typical London rainy weather on our way to explore London.

We visited the British Museum where they displayed all the treasures that they had 'liberated' from around the world.

There was a lot of things to see, even huge pieces of rock and temple walls that seemed almost impossible to transport across the world.

Statues, mummies, pots, vases and art in various forms from every culture. Like there was almost no place where the British didn't steal something.

From Japan, Rome, Africa, Europe they had it all here.

My favorites were of course the different weapons that were still quite well preserved. Made from steel, jade, bronze and even glass.

Everything was described and explained. Like how Egyptians used to sleep on wooden headrests that seemed very uncomfortable. Or the complex mummification process that they even did for animals.

The tools that were used to shape jade, or the different rocks that were used as painting color for giant wall art.

We had fish and chips in an English pub for lunch and also visited some board game stores and a massive Lego store.

We walked around a lot today so for the evening we relaxed at home by playing some board games and talking.

It was a good day.
