Sollentuna (S)-Stockholm (S)
Distance 35km
Travel time 42 minutes
Fitness challenge push-ups 210
Weather, rain in the morning which stopped during the day and disappeared in the evening, around 17C
Since it was raining for the first time, we had to have breakfast in the caravan, although having breakfast at 11:00 a.m. sounds funny... let's call it brunch. Anyway, it's vacation and because it stays light for so long, everything is shifted anyway.
At 1:20 p.m. we finally set off for Stockholm to the Vasa Museum. The Vasa was once the largest warship and sank on its maiden voyage, lay in the sea for 330 years and was finally recovered, restored and a museum was built around it. Really very interesting and impressive.
We took the opportunity to finally get some proper food in the city and found a spot right by the water. The food was very good and the ambiance fantastic.
Since we had no further activities planned for the evening except for a walk by the lake, UNO and Saboteur, the children went to bed 'earlier' this time (10:30 p.m.).
