After a beautiful Sunday with the Aubriot family, I had set myself a goal of kilometers, as it was supposed to be 36. I was kindly bid farewell.
The first destination was Mont Roland, a pilgrimage church that dates back to 1089.
From there, I headed to Burgundy, which I reached in the village of Ferme de la Bussiere.
Interchanges, then endless towpaths along the Saône River.
However, I had underestimated the distance, and in view of so many memories of France vacations spent together, a whole wave of nostalgia came over me.
So I fell into bed at 5 p.m. to drive away the slight fever.
Unfortunately, I didn't see Rodolphe and his donkey anymore due to taking a slight shortcut, but they are already on their way.
In the evening, I crossed the 1,000 km mark since Eisenach, now at 1,006 km.
