13th June/75th day: Condom - Eauze

Today is the day, the 1000 km to the destination in Santiago will be reached on the Le Pont de Artgue bridge, maybe 19 km later. I have some thoughts: in the Super Marathon on the Rennsteig trail you would now be in Oberhof, the short distance to Schmiedefeld can't be that bad anymore. But there are still 999 km left. But I'm happy about it. In addition, my family, Babsy and all the children and grandchildren are waiting for me in Portugal in four weeks. Nothing can stop me now.

So I start early in the morning from Condom.

After 6 km I reach Le Pont de Artgue, a pilgrim bridge from the Middle Ages.

Unbelievable and beautiful, I'm on the last 250 km through France!

My new shoes and my thoughts of my family carry me the 35 km to Eauze.

I arrive in Eauze around 4 p.m., meet Juan Miguel from Spain and Raphael from Grenoble again and spend the night with Marcel in a church hostel.
