Tag 19 - Melbourne

We spent the morning on the last long drive (340km) to Melbourne. We spontaneously booked a night at the campsite so we could take the bus into the city.

Melbourne is the second largest city in Australia with over 5 million inhabitants. On the Internet it is said to have a lively bar and restaurant scene and is also said to have a lot to offer artistically.

Arrived after about half an hour's drive, we strolled around the city center, through various shops and treated ourselves to a drink at a bar in the Yarra River (flows through Melbourne).

Since we got through relatively quickly, we drove to the Fitzroy district, which we really liked with its many alternative shops, bars and restaurants.

At a rooftop bar with a beautiful view of the skyline, we were lucky and arrived just in time for happy hour.

A few beers later, of course, we got hungry and the shop next door treated us to delicious tacos before we took the bus back towards the campsite with a slight tilt.
